RWJF Community Health Leaders National Program Office Relocates to Houston, TX
Founded in 1998, the Harris Foundation programs and initiatives for youth development, education, and health provide expanded networks and new audiences for disseminating information about the Community Health Leaders’ nominations and the leaders’ work.
With the expansion of the CHL National Advisory Committee, a new location, a rich history, and the continued support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Community Health Leaders Award is poised to apply a fresh perspective to recognize and highlight extraordinary individuals and the solutions they bring to the nation’s constantly evolving communities in the 21st century.
Please join me in expressing sincere appreciation to Helen Dundas and Mayra Saenz for their extraordinary service to CHL. Helen will begin a well-earned retirement in February. Mayra will take on new responsibilities as a Team Coordinator for the RWJF Human Capital Team. They have been invaluable members of the NPO staff.
There will be new features and new opportunities, however much will remain the same. In the coming weeks the NPO will provide additional details about the transition and our plans for 2010. Please note our new contact information, effective February 1, 2010:
