Leader’s Biography 2006: Executive Director, Comprehensive AIDS Program of Palm Beach County Her own experience with injury and poverty shaped Bonnet’s decision to work directing an HIV/AIDS program in a county with one of the highest HIV/AIDS and uninsured rates in the nation--one out of every 166 people is living with HIV or AIDS. Today the organization has expanded its HIV prevention and education services, reaching all communities of Palm Beach County, and serving nearly 3,000 HIV/AIDS patients annually. Work has begun on a 28,000 square-foot community health center that will be the first non-profit, non-governmental, federally qualified health center in Palm Beach County.
