Associate Executive Director, Michigan Veterans Foundation, Detroit, MI
Chatman is a Vietnam veteran and a tireless advocate for the homeless. He developed a 24-hour walk-in center for the homeless with an alcohol detoxification service. As associate executive director of the Michigan Veterans Foundation, Chatman has created transitional housing, substance abuse intervention and vocational training for homeless veterans.
