Board of Trustees, Utah County Children’s Justice Center, Provo, UT
As a nurse and midwife, Chasson saw that the system for helping child victims of physical abuse and sexual assault often caused excessive trauma for the children and families. She created the Children’s Justice Center, a homelike environment where children can tell their stories in a way that fosters healing. The center now serves over 1,200 victims annually.
