Leader’s Biography 2006:
Executive Director, District of Columbia Primary Care Association, Washington, DC.
Baskerville’s passion for social justice began in the 70s, when, as a poor single mother on welfare, she walked into a neighborhood clinic seeking services for her family. Today, as a result of her tenacity and wisdom, there is a plan, the $145 million Medical Homes D.C. Initiative, supported by District and Congressional leaders, to bring primary and specialty care facilities and doctors into underserved neighborhoods.
