Executive Director, Reachout, Inc., Morristown, TN
Committed to reversing poor health outcomes, such as high infant mortality and low birth weight babies, among the Latino migrant and factory workers in east Tennessee, Freeman founded Reachout, Inc. Her community educators visit workers at their workplaces or in their homes to provide health education and link them to needed services, from primary and prenatal care to legal services.
