Executive Director, Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center of Asbury Park
In 1984, Knight initiated a mobile nursing program that combines direct services, education, referral and advocacy for deinstitutionalized mentally ill and frail elderly living in boarding homes along the New Jersey seashore. Today, she oversees primary care services in a model nurse-practitioner managed clinic that continues her work with this vulnerable population.
