Leader’s Biography 1995: Board Chairman, Southwest Georgia Community Health Institute, Albany, GA When Hotz arrived in Leesburg, Georgia, as a National Service Corps physician, he became the county’s first doctor in forty years. Hotz founded and now directs three primary care clinics covering fourteen counties in southwest Georgia. He’s also created the Community Health Institute which brings together competing hospitals, private physicians and public health providers to develop much needed health programs in this poor, rural area.
