Co-Director, Rose Street Community Center, Baltimore, MD
Christopher stood up to drug dealers and opened a community center to save his neighborhood from the ravages of crime and substance abuse. He helped residents get treatment and job training, provide tutoring for youths and organize community cleanups to create a “civil life” on his street.
